Gamorean Guard Fan Art

I thought about all the things that inspired me as a kid and the three that jumped to the top were Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and C.S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia. Star Wars is what inspired me ultimately to become a concept artist. I learned from looking through "The Art of Star Wars" books and spent countless hours looking at the concepts from Ralph McQuarrie, Joe Johnston and Nilo Rodis-Jamero. As a kid, I have very vivid memories playing with the original Kenner Star Wars toys and for one reason or another I loved the Gamorrean Guard toy. I had a fun time creating fan art for the Gamorrean Guard.
